01 – YOUR DAY AT SELMA
It starts long before the ceremony.
Arrive in the morning and settle in. The cabin is reserved for the wedding party throughout the day — a place to get ready, gather the people closest to you, take photographs, and have a little room between the moments everyone else will see.
Outside, vendors begin transforming the grounds. Flowers arrive. Tables are set. The ceremony space takes shape. Your guests haven’t arrived yet.
For a few hours, Selma is simply yours to inhabit.
02 – GATHER
Beneath the trees.
The Grove is where the day begins to belong to everyone.
Guests follow the garden paths into the woods, where the ceremony unfolds beneath a canopy of mature trees. The pergola anchors the space, but little else is prescribed — flowers, music, seating and ceremony details can make it distinctly yours.
Then the vows are said, the photographs are taken, and the rest of Selma opens up around you.
On The Woodlawn
You can also choose the woodlawn area behind our cabin surrounded by the property’s dense wooded acreage.
This space is ideal for an open air ceremony with endless natural beauty and privacy. We line the chairs facing the treeline while brides walk in from behind for a memorable reveal. Its a beautiful site from inside the cabin.
03 — LINGER
Let the day loosen a little.
After the ceremony, there is nowhere you need to rush off to.
Take photographs by the pond. Wander the grounds with your wedding party. Find a drink, catch up with someone you haven’t seen in years, or disappear beneath the trees for a few quiet minutes while dinner takes shape nearby.
At Selma, the space between the big moments is part of the day, too.
04 — DINE + CELEBRATE
Dinner under canvas.
As daylight disappears behind the trees, the reception takes over the lawn.
Dinner at Selma happens beneath a traditional pole tent — open to the grounds, protected overhead, and transformed by whatever you bring beneath it. Long tables or rounds. Chandeliers or string lights. Flowers gathered from a garden or something entirely unexpected.
Beyond the tent, the rest of the property doesn’t disappear. Guests can wander back beneath the trees, gather around the fire, or step outside into the night before returning to the celebration.
