Anthology at Selma

A Wooded Estate

A private outdoor wedding and event venue near Muncie, Indiana.

Where it Began

Long before Anthology at Selma became a place for weddings, there was a cabin.

Built in southern Indiana in the late nineteenth century, it was moved—intact—to this property in the early 2000s. Rather than being dismantled or left behind, it was given a second life among the trees.

Today the estate has grown around it, but the cabin remains its heart—a reminder that meaningful places are rarely built all at once. They are gathered, preserved, and entrusted to the next generation.

Why Couples Choose Selma

A place that doesn’t feel manufactured.

Selma wasn’t built to imitate another venue. Its history, woodland setting, and restored cabin give every celebration a sense of place that can’t be replicated.

A property to yourself.

From the ceremony grove to the cabin and surrounding grounds, the estate becomes yours for the day—giving couples and guests room to slow down, gather, and celebrate together.

Nature without sacrificing comfort.

Towering trees, open lawns, and mature landscaping create an immersive outdoor experience, while thoughtfully appointed spaces provide comfort throughout the day.

Built for photographs.

Every path, garden, stone, and stand of trees becomes part of the story. The estate changes with the seasons, giving every wedding its own visual character.

Growing with intention.

Selma continues to evolve through thoughtful restoration and stewardship. Every improvement is made to deepen the experience while preserving the character that makes the property unique.
